...It doesn't stop here

August 18, 2013

After speaking at a Bible college & 11 churches over the summer, we were able to raise funds for the following:
* 93 SD Cards
* 138 Chickens
* 40 Bibles
* 12 New Child Sponsors

Along with these projects, other donations and great amounts came in for our general fund which will be used in very exciting ways!

But we don't want these numbers to stop here! We are still promoting and raising money for these proejcts, so please spread the word and let others know how easy it is to get involved!

Last stop: St. Mark's, Butler, PA

July 20, 2013

Our last and final church to share at was St. Mark's church in Butler, PA. We are so happy that we had our last Sunday open and that the opportunity came about! Speaking in both services and sharing in the Sunday school class was great and the responsiveness from the church was so encouraging! Donations were collected for the projects and we also received many generous gifts towards our general fund. It was definitely a great ending to our time in the states! Thank you St. Mark's for your kindness and your eagerness to make an eternal difference!

Two churches, one Sunday

July 16, 2013

As we were in the states, even more opportunities came up to share at churches than what we were anticipating! We were thrilled at the opportunity to hear from a pastor who invited us to speak at both of his churches one Sunday morning - Emmanuel and St. John's church, both in the Butler, PA area. We are so grateful to these churches for opening their doors to us! The congregations were so kind and welcoming to us. Many donations were collected, and SD cards, chickens, and Bibles were also bought. Thank you Emmanuel and St. John's! Your faithful support is greatly appreciated, and because of it, you will touch many lives!

Visiting Harvest Bible Chapel

July 13, 2013

It was great taking part in the service at Harvest Bible Chapel in Wexford, PA! Everyone was so kind and welcoming to us. It was awesome to meet and talk with people who are so excited about missions. One young boy chose to buy a Bible so that someone his age will have his or her very own too. Donations were given for our general fund and 6 Bibles, 5 SD Cards, & 3 Chickens were bought! Thank you for the opportunity, Harvest, to come share our hearts for the people of Southeast Asia with you! Your support means the world to us!

Blessings from Butler, PA

July 11, 2013

We loved seeing all of our friends at North Street Christian Church in Butler and speaking during the service last month! We can't thank the church enough for their constant support and all of the encouragement we have received from them. We got to see many of the families and individuals who sponsor kids and give them each a little craft that their child had made! We love how personally connected these famlies have become with their sponsored children! Many more people got involved and along with the generous donations that were given, 22 chickens, 16 SD cards, & 5 Bibles were purchased. A big thank you to North Street for being such a blessing to us, the sponsored kids, and so many others in Southeast Asia!

Young people step up @ New Life

July 1, 2013

While speaking at New Life Christian Church in Haymarket, VA, there were many kids who got involved in fun ways! One young girl gave her own money in order to buy a chicken for the kids in Thailand. Another girl took one of our Thai bracelets to remember to pray for the kids in Thailand. We showed her a picture of Asa, a girl her age at the Children's Ministry, so she can pray for her, and we'll give her name & picture to Asa in return so they can become prayer partners! We are thankful for the adults & kids at New Life who gave in many ways. You are making a difference in the lives of people on the other side of the world!

The impact that Chesapeake, VA is making

June 14, 2013

While in VA, we had the chance to visit Real Life Christian Church and speak at both services. It was exciting for us to see how so many people were being moved to get involved with missions! The response was great and we are so encouraged by all of their kind donations. They are making a huge impact in the lives of people across the world as they bought 18 Chickens, 14 Bibles, and 5 SD Cards. Because of faithful givers like these, we will see the chicken coop thrive, get Bibles into the hands of kids in Thailand, and spread God's Word throughout Southeast Asia!

Our time in Youngsville, NC

June 5, 2013

We headed to the east coast a few weeks ago and spent some time in Youngsville, NC. We got the opportunity to speak at Oak Level Christian Church.  Jesse's uncle opened up the service and then we got to share what we do and all that God is doing in Southeast Asia! Jesse's dad, Kal, then finished the service by preaching.  We are so honored that we were able to take part in the service. Thank you to everyone at Oak Level for welcoming us, for all of your donations, and for buying 7 chickens, 7 SD cards, and a Bible!

A Big Thanks to Circleville, KS!

May 28, 2013

Our next stop in Kansas was Circleville Christian Church. We got to speak at the Traditional, Contemporary & Cowboy church services! Everyone at CCC was so welcoming and encouraging. They donated many gifts to the general fund as well as bought 12 SD cards and... 55 chickens! Wow! We couldn't be more excited. We now have the means to buy adequate amounts of chicken food and lots more chickens in the future! Thanks for stepping up for the Kingdom, Kansas!

Manhattan, KS is making a difference

May 13, 2013

We flew to Kansas recently and spent a week in Manhattan. We had the chance to visit University Christian Church as well as hang out at Manhattan Christian College, the college where Jesse graduated from.  We got the opportunity to speak in three classes about what we do and what it's like sharing our faith among a Buddhist nation. It was exciting to talk with students who are so passionate about missions. Their donations were also great - 6 SD cards, 9 Bibles, and 12 chickens were purchased! Thanks for your enthusiasm, your general donations, and your involvement with our current projects, Manhattan!
